Hello, we are Titus and Marissa! Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know our family through this profile! You'll see that adoption is already so near and dear to us and is woven into our story and hearts. We are so humbled that you would consider us as adoptive parents.

We actually met for the first time at the hospital (of all places!) where we both worked as nurses! We ran into each other often there and soon discovered we went to the same church as well. We started talking more and found we had a lot in common. Then we got to go on a medical mission trip to Guatemala together with a team from our church. Being a part of that medical team drew us even closer together and we started officially dating in the summer of 2018!

When I first met Titus, I thought he was caring, honest, good-looking, and intelligent. Eight years later, I'll tell you my first impression was 100% right!

Titus is an amazing dad to our boys and a loving and supportive husband! He spends almost all of his time with us. He has high expectations of each of the boys and always believes in them. He is a natural teacher and makes every moment into a teaching moment. He is our provider and fearless leader, and we love him with all our hearts!...

Marissa is the sweetest person you will ever meet. Her kind and gentle spirit are what I found attractive from the moment I met her. She strives for excellence in everything she does, and I couldn’t ask for a better wife or mother to my children.

She shares my joys of family, nursing, the outdoors, and walks. She also enjoys reading, scrapbooking, attending women’s Bible studies, volunteering in church nursery on Sundays, journaling,...

Our boys are each such special blessings to us!

Avrie is a responsible, caring, kind, and thoughtful oldest brother. He enjoys video games, his job, and his motorcycle. He graduated high school in 2023 with his AA college degree. He is now in Nursing School at our local university. We couldn’t be more proud of him and all his accomplishments.

Our home is our happy place where we can just be us and relax! We prioritize family, education, and our faith in Jesus above all else! Our home is one of financial and emotional stability.

We bought our home here in sunny, Southwest Florida in 2019 and we love it! We hope to live in this home forever. We especially enjoy our fenced-in backyard. We've planted several fruit trees and Judah loves playing out there with his trucks, water table, play-kitchen, sandbox, and slide daily. Our...

We have both been blessed with very involved and loving families! They were all SO excited and supportive when we adopted Judah and they have been praying diligently with us now to welcome another child into our family!!

Titus’ family is large because he is one of seven brothers. There are currently 24 grandkids/cousins (the oldest is 19, the youngest just turned 1), and they LOVE the family reunions we have twice a year in Michigan. They all play together...

Our top three activities are probably:

1.) Nature. We really enjoy being outdoors and exploring nature! We go on nature walks at least a couple of times a week either at a beach or a park. Also, at home we love spending time outdoors by taking a relaxing walk through the neighborhood or swimming in our community pool!

2.) Travel. We go on a summer family vacation every year! We've travelled to Michigan, Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, and the Grand Canyon as a family....

We have so many holiday traditions!

On Christmas, we read the Christmas story from the Bible together. The boys open stockings and presents (while sipping on hot cocoa and munching on homemade cinnamon rolls). We usually go over to Grandpa and Grandma’s house afterward to share presents with them! We also enjoy the candlelight service at our church on Christmas Eve!

On Easter, we all go to church, get new outfits, eat a feast together, have an Easter egg hunt, and praise...
